The 30 day, no drama version.
We want you to genuinely love your HOSHI lamp. If it doesn't land in your space the way you hoped, you've got 30 days from when it arrives to send it back for a full refund.
The basics.
You've got 30 days from delivery to request a return.
To be eligible for a refund, your lamp needs to be:
✦ In the same condition it arrived
✦ Unused, with all original packaging
✦ Complete with any accessories, bulbs, or cables included in the box
Return shipping is on you (we'll wear the initial delivery, you cover the trip back). It's the one part we can't absorb at our price point, and it keeps our lamps affordable in the first place. Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we refund you in full.
How to start a return.
Email Ryley at ryley@hoshilighting.com.au with your order number and a quick note about why you're returning.
We'll reply with the return address and any instructions you need. Please don't send anything back before you hear from us. Items posted without a return request can't be processed, and that's a headache we'd both rather avoid.
Damaged or faulty on arrival?
If your lamp turns up damaged, defective, or we've sent you the wrong one, that's on us — not you.
Message us straight away at ryley@hoshilighting.com.au with a photo and your order number. We'll cover return shipping AND send a replacement out immediately. No back-and-forth.
What's not returnable.
A few things we can't accept back:
✦ Sale items (all sales final)
✦ Gift cards
✦ Anything used, damaged after delivery, or missing original packaging
Getting your refund.
Once your lamp is back with us and inspected (usually within 2 business days of arrival), we'll refund you to your original payment method.
Most refunds land within 5-10 business days, though your bank might take a couple more days to actually show it in your account. If it's been more than 15 business days and you're still waiting, email Ryley and we'll chase it up personally.
Change your mind?
The fastest way to swap one lamp for another is to return the first, wait for the refund, and place a new order. Trying to do a direct exchange usually takes longer and creates more admin for both of us.
